Kicked off Saturday recovery day in the same way as usual- Running Club at Lane Cove. Small group due to the Running Festival tomorrow. We had a tempo run (rather than surges), which helped me to keep my HR below my limit. Was able to finish with a good stretch on 3:50km pace running with Jeff A, keeping my HR around the 155BPM mark. Fantastic to have Scott Alden back in training too. Spin was a good recovery session, however I was still happy to finish.
TRAINING:
AM#1: 40min run (8.5km). Avg HR 139BPM. Avg Pace 4:41/km.
AM#2: 90min spin. Avg HR 140BPM.
