Actually thought my HR was behaving itself much better than all my other Saturday morning cycle sessions, so I was surprised to see the high avg HR. Whenever I pushed the pace a little it did go up quite quickly, shooting to 170BPM in a heart beat (so to speak), however it seemed as though it was under my Maffetone limit for most of the ride. Did not feel as powerful on the bike either. Must try to get to bed earlier on Friday nights.
