Missed the boat this morning due to a late night, so settled for training in the evening. Cycle on the wind trainer where I could keep the intensity under control, followed by a jog through. Took the run as I would take a warm up before a track session- gradually increasing my pace. The sub 3:30/km stretch felt great. HR was high but the legs felt strong. I feel as though I have my mojo back and am looking forward to the race tomorrow. No GPS run data as the satellite didn't pick up after the cycle indoors.
TRAINING:
PM: 1 hour cycle (wind trainer). Avg HR 152BPM. PLUS 20min run (~5km) Avg HR 154BPM.
Core:
1) Pelvic Tilt. 30/20/10
2) Side Plank Raise. 3 x 30sec holds each side
(15sec recovery)
