Did not do a very good job of treating the AM spin as a recovery session. Same story: too hard then spent. And not that tired but satisfied feeling after a solid session. There is nothing satisfying about feeling like you've been hit by a truck. Avg HR is gradually getting lower too. Hmmm... My nutrition hasn't been crash hot over the past few days so that may be part of the problem. Skipped out on evening spin.
Actually, all this bludging may work out in my favour. I read that many athletes often produce their best performances after enforced rest (i.e. injury). Although mine is not enforced as such, there is definately something slowing me down.

AM: 40min spin. Avg HR 143BPM.
