Took the wind trainer and bike Down to Tunks Park to practice my bike /run transition before Sunday. 45 min recovery/aerobic session involving 10mins on the bike followed by a 5 min run (covering around 1.3km @ 3:50-4:00/km). The main aim of the session was to practice riding down on the aerobars which I had put on the bike just yesterday, and transitioning into and out of the new cycling shoes Diana bought me as an early birthday present (very stylish Shimano TR51's!). The shoes are designed to assist triathletes with their trainsitions. They have a nice wide mouth, big velcro strap, and a springy sole so it is easier to fit the foot in when riding.

TRAINING:

PM: 45min Brick Session (10min cycle, 5min run x 3). Avg HR 151BPM (171Max).
