Hit up the wetsuit ocean swim with Stu Trueman this morning. It was a similar session to last week, just a little shorter. I actually felt really good in the water today. The wetsuit was fitting well and, although the shoulders were a little tired, I found a great rhythm and it felt like I was moving through the water really well.
Legs felt pretty tired in the evening cycle, but the energy levels were decent. HR was high in the efforts, but it came down pretty quickly.
TRAINING:
AM: Ocean Swim (Balmoral) (1.5km) (9/10)
> 5x efforts around buoy #1 and into beach cove/beach
PM: 1h cycle (wind trainer). Avg HR 156BPM (190MAX). Included 2x 10min effort @ 110+RPM (7/10)
